Drafts

Drafts B- Kent Town
This is the rather more complex plan i had drawn up, which would be aimed at a more sophisticated audience at around 16-17 years of age. It would use mostly formal language but it would use some language which students of this age can relate too.
Title Page
The title page features two large slots for images and two large slots for text advertisement. It will have a continuous border which separates the page up into six different segments for the different text, images and headings.
Contents Page
The contents page will be heavily text based but will feature designated slots and boxes for a few images. this will also have a border which will separate the page up into 4 different sections. this will make it easy for the audience to find text and images without looking through the whole page.

Extra Notes
These extra notes cover a wide range of ideas for how the colour will be allocated across the two pages and what fonts shall be used.

Drafts

Drafts A- Basildon High
These drafts have a rougher and more informal layout. They are separated up into different quadrants however the lines are not all straight and will not all be the same width and colour. Its more dynamic and feels more engaging than the other draft set. this would be in the same age range but will be aimed at a rather more informal and less sophisticated audience.
Title Page
The title page is presented as informal because it will not feature as much text or information about upcoming events in the magazine. Instead it will feature a larger image taking up most of the page accompanied by a small box for text and a separated section at the bottom with a small contest or prize.
Contents Page
The contents page, not like the title page, will feature a slightly more formal design with clearly separated sections but alternating borders widths and colours. It will have a large landscape image with cover text and page information at the top with a separated section with other page information and images to accompany them.

Extra Notes
A few simple notes about colour.
